More Log Cabin Items : Three sets of Gables and two columns, plus I'm having waaay too much fun doing trees! I added made five more trees, a rock and some leaves as well.

GABLES
Each color gable consists of three parts - three colors made to match the three log cabin colors: The Base color shown here, Beach and Tennessee pictured below. Zip also includes two columns, the square one and the stripped tree column in the inset.

Trees are all cloned from original Maxis: The Sims Trees and are 2X2. All the trees were modeled and textured by me in Carrara 3D Studio.

I started paging through some of my old log cabin magazines and dreaming again - lol. Instead of focusing on the very rustic log cabins, I decided to make some items for contemporary homes. The initial set of basic build items includes door(LL), side window and 3-tile overdoor window(HD), plus a small window and a privacy window.

Exterior Walls and Floors Sets - Click on the pictures to download the 6 coordinated exterior walls plus the log ends.

The log ends are a single tile rug (LL) so the sims can walk over them. They work best on external corners: Classified as Decorative: other.

Trees are all cloned from original Maxis: The Sims Trees and are 2X2. The large Maple is really a 3X3 tree, but I squeezed it into a 2X2 - that one tree can hang into the next square over. All the trees were modeled and textured by me in Carrara 3D Studio.

Here's a set I made a while ago and is my first full set in 3D! Woohoo! :D I finally figured out the transparancy thing and so I took a break from the Venus Spa to bring you this hopefully summery Living Set.

The Venus Spa originally started as an Art Nouveau bath set and grew into more!

The areas shown are available now; bathroom, front grand entrance and reception area. The next installment includes the shower, hottub and a bench (at least) and also a lot using all the objects for superstar and downtown.

I just keep thinking of more and more things to add. :)

MACKINTOSH ROSE BEDROOM SET

CLICK ON THE PICTURE FOR A LARGER VIEW This bedroom set was inspired by the main bedroom in the Hill House which was designed and furnished by the Mackintosh's. I did take some creative licence when "sim"ifying this set, turning the washstand into a desk, and adding color and embellishment. I hope I don't offend any purists - but well, some of the changes are due partially to the limitations of my talent - lol. It is my sincere desire to honor the Mackintoshs, artists that I admire immensely.

DOWNLOADS This set consists of 14 files: The bed is currently available as a lovebed only, but in two versions, a "normal" love bed and one that is visitor enabled and classified for purchase downtown for all your hotel needs. The "remaining" zip contains the two walls and three floors, endtable, two rugs (LL), desk, chair, wall sconce (LL) and window.

LIGHTING
I love the Arts and Crafts/Mission styles as well as Art Nouveau and some Art Deco - popular styles ranging from the late 1800s through the mid 1900s. I certainly admire Tiffany and while these lamps don't come close to the exquisite creations by the artist himself, here are my renditions of "Simfiny" style lighting. In addition, I created a set of mission style lamps and sconces to go with Arts and Crafts/Mission decor. More objects in these styles in the upcoming months. I just can't seem to stay away from this time period - lol.
