| CAN I RECOLOR YOUR ORIGINAL OBJECTS? Yes! Please give me (or the creating staff member) credit somewhere preferably where the object is pictured and a link back to this site if possible. If there is a readme with the original object download, please include the creators' readme in your zip too. Some of the objects on this site are retextures and recolors from other websites (noted in the description of the object). Please follow the links within an objects's description to check their faqs about redistribution and cloning. CAN I REDECORATE/MODIFY YOUR HOMES? Yes! And again, please give credit and a link. Unfortunately, this particular OK has been abused, so please follow these guidelines for credit. If you redecorate or modify a house that you've downloaded from this site, please put this note by the description of the house where it is pictured: "Based on an original house courtesy of (staff members name) at www.jendea.com". If this is not possible (as in yahoo groups or msn groups where there is no description) then please put a note displayed *prominently* in your shopping list or readme if there is no shopping list. Please do not claim credit for creating houses that are based on the ones found on this site - it's discouraging to the original builders. If you want us to be inspired to make more for you to redecorate - err on the side of too much credit - lol. CAN I USE YOUR WALLS TO MAKE HOUSES FOR MY SITE? CAN I USE SOME OF YOUR FILES FOR A CONTEST I'M ENTERING? CAN I PICTURE YOUR OBJECTS/WALLS ETC.? Yes, yes, and yes! I allow anyone who wants to use my walls, floors or roofs to freely picture and distribute them zipped with the house file (.iff) in which they are used, but please do not change the imbedded descriptions or names of the file. If you change the name, anyone who downloads your version and has also downloaded it from this site will have two files that look exactly alike in the game - very confusing. So don't do it, kay? I put the links in the descriptions so that no one would have to worry about giving seperate credit - it's already there. However, some of our staff use readmes instead. If the creator has a readme in the zip file you downloaded, please also include their readme with your house zip. CAN I SEND YOUR FILES TO MY FRIEND? Definately, it's fine to send these files through email or messenger services. CAN I PUT A LINK ON MY WEBSITE/EZBOARD/YAHOO OR MSN GROUP THAT DIRECTLY DOWNLOADS FILES FROM YOUR SITE? CAN I LINK DIRECTLY TO YOUR JPGS, GIFS OR BMPS? CAN I USE A BOT THAT PACKAGES YOUR ENTIRE WEBSITE'S DOWNLOADS? No! Please, please, please don't do this. I can't afford the bandwidth bills. If I find a site doing this, I will have to ban the originating ip address or risk closing my entire site due to exceding my allowed bandwidth. This will make the site unavailable to everyone and break the download links too. CAN I MAKE YOUR FILES AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON MY SITE? Well, I go a little off the typical response here and say "yes". If you have a site looking for content and want to duplicate *some* of the files you find here, go ahead and take a few of mine. Please do not take files made by other staff members. All files that are unsigned under the picture are mine, anything with a signature was made by a staff member - please contact that staff member by email to request use of their files. Please try to limit it to less than 20, I don't want the entire site duplicated for obvious reasons. There are a few conditions tho. If you meet them, then have at it! a) Give me credit for my uniquely created files and provide a link back to this site in the description. Do not claim you made the files or misrepresent me as being on your staff or even leave it questionable - you can call me a Guest Artist if you like. b) Offer the files free - i.e. no payment is necessary to download or access them either to your site or through a hosting site (this includes donation only gifts). There may be some exceptions to this rule on a case-by-case basis if its for a good cause or charity - email me for permission first please. c) Host the download yourself.
