Neighborhoods

| The basic neighborhood is for the Sim creator who enjoys decorating, but not building from scratch and focuses primarily on architecture. I was going to leave the walls and floors bare orginally, but instead used very simple white stucco, grey brick, white tile and grey carpet. I also used only objects and plants from the original The Sims in the entire neighborhood. This way, the houses can be used "as-is" (by anyone) or the doors, windows, plants etc. can be used as "placeholders" and replaced by downloaded objects or by things from other expansion packs as you redecorate. There are five starter homes, two midrange homes, two upper end midrange and one mansion. The least expensive home is lot 6 at $9723 and the mansion on lot 2 is the most expensive at $54946, so the whole neighborhood is very playable. Many of the lots have space for a garden although I did not have Unleashed at the time of creation so the plots are not added. Enjoy! |
