Based on the Sears, Roebuck and Company order by mail House kits that were popular in the 20s, 30s and 40s in many parts of the US, this kit house for your simmies is already constructed ;) on lot #3. The cost of the house is $26,085 - like many of the kit homes, highly affordable for the size and quality. There are four bedrooms, two of which are large masters and a sleeping porch off one (sleeping outdoors was thought to encourage health). There are also three baths, large living room, dining room and kitchen plus a walk through pantry between the dining and the kitchen. For exterior dining there is a dining porch/sunroom off the dining room. Unlike many Arts and Crafts style houses, many of the Sears Houses included Entry Halls, which I also added to this sim home. This might have been an inclusion from the older, but still popular Victorian style. The exterior features a combination of traditional landscaping and natural. The landscaping objects are the the only things on the shopping list and come from Persimmon Grove and Around The Sims. Persimmon Grove has many more wonderful objects that are very well suited to the Arts and Crafts style of landscaping (natural). Around The Sims has some very lovely coordinated trees that are a bit darker and give the impression (to me anyway) of deep forest so I used those in several places.
