CLICK ON THE PICTURE FOR A LARGER VIEW SUMMER NIGHTS PORCH SET Inspired by my own memories of midwestern summer nights when the kids are chasing fireflies and the adults sit on the porch after a long hot day. Set of 10 walls, one floor and two roofs (only one shown) plus 19 objects objects. Objects in zip: Raised porch rail (a window that sets right over the wall paper bottom border) two columns to cap the joins where the walls meet or the edges of a wall so the end piece doesn't show (a short one and a tall one); these are actually rugs cloned from the great one-tile rug from the fabulous SIMFREAKS so they don't block placement of other objects two normal columns to match the rug ones but centered and act like normal columns not decor, porch swing (cloned from loveseat - doesn't swing, but your sim can nap on it) redwood recliner (VAC) two coach lamps - one antique brass and one black (LL) two post lamps - one antique brass and one black exterior style ceiling lamp (HD) animated fireflies shutters door and window (HP) recolors to match and a welcome mat to top it all off (also cloned from the one tiled door mat from SIMFREAKS.
Note: To make your porch "rooms" put a regular wall around the area you want to enclose as a porch, then place your rail windows all around the exterior walls except for where you want the sims to be able to walk onto your porch - place the whole wall invisible door there. Then you may "cap" the edges of the rail with the column rugs. These columns are way, way off-center, so that they will sit in the right place. You may have to play with them turning them around a bit to get them over the correct edge. They work best if placed in the inside corner where the walls meet. Note: because of the strange z's required to get this effect, the medium and high tilt roofs look best.

FORMAL PORCHES More variety and a more formal look for your porches - this add on to the original set includes three new shutter colors, four new pillars in normal (HD) and offset mode (offset ones are under decorative/other and are made from rugs cloned from the one-tile rug from the great SIMFREAKS so they don't block placement of other objects, and four new railings - white, smoky grey and natural plus a new spindle style rail.
